Location...
In the melon industry location can mean everything.
| Our first night, we sold in front of Filiberto's. If people are looking to eat, they are likely to indulge in a delicious melon. | |
| We also found that drunk people are very fond of watermelon. Outside of a bar is a perfect place to set up shop. | |
| Beach goers do enjoy biting into a refreshing slice melon. Unfortunately they too often are without money. The beach is not and ideal melon-vendor's location. | |
| Raul's is a nice place to sell. Seating as well as customers can be borrowed easily. Plus, good food is only an arm's length away. | |
| PB sucks. There is no parking, and not nearly enough pedestrians. We came with high hopes and left dissapointed. | |
| We have found at least a temporary home for stellar melon on the corner of D street and 101 in Encinitas. Melon can easily be sold to both pedestrians and motorists. If you're in the area, check for our stand. There is a pretty good chance that we'll be there. |
